Growing up in Southern California, Crystal was raised in a vibrant musical household. Her dad’s band would frequently hold practices at their home, often letting Crystal sit in while they would wait for the lead singer to arrive. In contrast to her sweet nature, taking center stage emboldened her, revealing a raw confidence and love for performing. In the eclectic community of Santa Barbara, she was exposed to a vast variety of artists, cultures, and sounds, which have been interwoven into her style as a songwriter.

For Crystal, the devotion to her faith has always been the foundation on which she builds her life and creates her art.
